Dr. André Taylor is the co-founder and director of TMD-SPI. He is also an associate professor in the chemical engineering, and the principal investigator of the Transformative Materials and Devices (TMD) Lab at Yale. He has extensive experience and knowledge from his research and work on energy conversion and storage devices, including solar energy  and batteries.
